Ways to encourage your baby's language
Watch and respond
Be face to face
Copy your baby's sounds, actions, and facial expressions
Say the words for baby. put cries, sounds, actions into real words
Be lively. attract baby with touch and changes in your voice, face and actions.
Use rhythm and music as you speak.
Take turns
Repeat and repeat- words, rhymes, songs, games and stories
Talk about what you and baby are doing, seeing, smelling, tasting, feeling and hearing. use simpel language.
